Gonzalo Fernández Parrilla is the author of the literary travelogue Al sur de Tánger. Un viaje a las culturas de Marruecos (South from Tangiers. A Voyage to the Cultures of Morocco) (2022) in its seventh edition and translated into Arabic, French, English, Italian and Persian. He is the author of La literatura marroquí contemporánea (Modern Moroccan Literature) (2006), and the co-editor of New Geographies: Texts and Contexts in Modern Arabic Literature (2018); Remembering for Tomorrow or Autobiografía y literatura árabe (2000).
